This handbook could not have come to fruition without the dedicated efforts of all the co-authors who have so graciously contributed their time and energy to produce the content seen here. The concept of writing a freely available e-book on eHealth evaluation is not without risk as it is unclear how the e-book will be received by the eHealth community. Yet all of the co-authors have enthusiastically embraced the idea of electronic self-publishing for which we are deeply indebted. Their names are already listed in the contributors section at the end of this handbook and thus will not be repeated here. We wish to thank Morgan Price who created the graphic design for the e-book cover. The support of the University of Victoria library staff under the direction of Inba Kehoe must also be acknowledged, as their diligent work was crucial in compiling the final e-book version and making it available on the university’s website. Lastly a special thanks to James Allen, the relentless copy editor, whose meticulous attention to detail has supported the creation of an e-book of such fine quality.
