Introduction to Creative Writing Syllabus
Full description
Multi-authored by graduate science students in collaboration with the Mount Writing Centre, this is the July 2024 iteration of a plain-language Science Writing Support basic guide, with links, for first-year students. Aimed at incoming students, the guide aims to prepare students that different styles of writing are required by different scientific fields of study. This resource also can be used by Arts students in Science electives. Its language and information is deliberately basic in order to avoid overwhelm: this is a ‘starter pack.’ Campus science writing tutor support is included on its last page. This document is included in university orientation resources where relevant. Fluid and digital, it is updated each term and by department request.
