TWU Writing Centre and Generative AI: Philosophy and Scripts
Full description
This Writing Centre philosophy and scripts for helping students with questions about GenAI came out of over a year of research and conversations about specific student and tutor scenarios. It was drafted and revised by different members of the TWU Writing Centre. We hope it will be helpful to other institutions for tutor training and continuing the dialogue on ethical ways to engage with students about GenAI. The scripts are meant to be helpful framing or sample conversations and not prescriptive; instead, we hope tutors will engage with the ideas and come up with their own ways of questioning and prompting in writing sessions.
