Final Project - Intro to World Literature

Resource added

Full description

This ENGL 102: Introduction to World Literature final project/portfolio replaces the final examination. Since the course theme is Identity and Home, the students present and submit a creative response to the course theme. In addition to the creative piece, the students revise their first in-class essay similarly titled and modelled after Bertrand Russell’s essay “What I Have Lived For.” This project also demands a reflection of their revision as well as an artist statement on their creation. Their reflection must include a definition of identity and/or home. Note that this assignment is not in lieu of a research essay. The previously submitted research essay builds on the second in-class essay in this course.
